Remoter Pro (VNC, SSH & RDP) App Reviews

I have tried a lot of remote desktop and shell clients but this is by far the easiest to use with the most cross compatibility. I needed something that allowed me to ssh and rdp into various boxes and operating systems and this does the trick. I use it daily for managing my company and setting up systems. Great work dev team!

I use this with my iPad all the time. This allows me to use my iPad as my laptop. It is wonderful. They are quick to produce updates, and I am continually pleased with the functionality offered. Liam Whalen

they use custom ui that doesnt support the new screen size! so dont bother with this version...

One function that would really improve remoter would be support for TS gateway.

I tried to check whether or not japanese keyboard is available under connecting to latest and older ultravnc. ie,from iOS7 to win. No respose,no sending any characters in spite of my setting DIRECT keyboard. Previous / elder versions had worked for me. i seem PRO version is not working properly, BUG? pls check ASAP.

Id like to connect VNC server via ssh port forward, but this app always down when session start on iPhone6S+, iOS9.2.1 for Japanese language.

Ive tried several other apps, if I would have a reasonable percentage of the features of Remoter Pro, I should have bought 5-6 differnt Apps, but never reaching 100% . Its simply perfect, SSH, RDP, VNC, work with EVERY server Ive to manage, no troubles with tunnellings, international keyboard mappings, resolutions, etc. Special Keys and Mouse support are simply great. Just 2 suggestions to make it more than perfect: 1) I managed to copy settings, and hosts configurations from my iPad to iPhone, using iTunes. It wouldt be possible to share these configurations between devices by mean of iCloud? 2) It should be possible, using Dropbox API, to map a network drive in RDP, or to use VNC file transfer function, why dont you make it? Personally, I would very happy to buy an upgrade such this. Thank You, Remoter Labs!

This app is unusable on my iPad. The UI hangs when I try and add a server, some machines appear, but the table view wont scroll. The UI also hangs when I bring up the SSH configuration view. On resume, the screen remains blank, until the watchdog kills the app.

Wake up ping is handy Refresh is pretty choppy even at low screen size.

I use this often to update things on my home computer while on the go. It works pretty well and I really like the touchpad feature.

Ive used this for remote server admin over a VPN connection on Verizons LTE network and its great! Both RDP and VNC protocols work very well. It you have good connectivity, lag is not a problem. Its very responsive. Im very pleased and would recommend it to anyone that needs to connect to remote Windows systems.

Until the last few days, Remoter Pro worked pretty well. It was relatively easy to set up, worked fairly well, and seemed to be pretty stable; however the refresh rate was very low and graphics were poor. But in the last few days, it wont let me connect to my computer, the app just crashes. No warning or error messages, it just crashes. Very dissapointing especially considering how much I paid for the app. If it wasnt for these crashes, Id rate the app 4/5 stars.

This app is awesome! Im on the road most of the day dealing with customers, and now I look up and even work on estimates right from my phone!! I dont have to run all the way back to the office like I was doing before. Thank you so much!!

I would get my money back if I could. This app is way to difficult. I cant even get it set up. It requires going to one or more sites and downloading programs that I have no idea what their function is. I have given up. This app needs to have a single installation button and do all installing from there with as much automation as possible. I am taking it off my PC and Ipad.

Overall this is a really good app and works well with mac and linux boxes. Imwould give it 5 stars but for the lack of any documentation. Things like mouse control are difficult to figure out. Even when you think you understand it you find you cant do something without alot of experimentation. There is also no online help worth anything, just some FAQs, which just frustrates one even more. So only 4 stars not 5.

And I love the ability to do RDP over SSH.

I have purchased several RDP, VNC, & SSH type applications over the years. Since purchasing this app, it is my default go to app now. It is simple to setup and it just works.

I purchased this app because it can tunnel VNC through an SSH tunnel. I didnt see another app advertising that feature. As a network professional, I use SSH, VNC, and RDP on a regular basis, and this is the best remote client Ive used for the iPad. I do have one minor gripe. Using the up-arrow key in a SSH session on a Cisco ASA does not bring up the previous command as it should. It types the letter A. The down-arrow types the letter B. Overall though... great app!
