0 actual documentation, forced to contact support with just basic queries, who takes 12-20+ hours to give a generic answer and not answer the question at all. NO viable key import option (clipboard, anyone), horrible management, awful UI. You can get WAY better for way less. Dont waste your $$ here

Okay, I am revising my last review because I fixed the keyboard issue. Changing the keyboard mode from U.S. to direct fixes the typos with logging into my windows box. But the connection shortcuts are still too close together and it works differently from the cheaper iPhone version and takes some getting used to.

Waste of time and money! Absolutely NO documentation or help with anything!!!! They should be sued for stating the exact opposite.

I see many people complaining about instructions which is understandable. I though have tried most of the major Remote Desktop apps and this one by far has the most features. First it has the flexible sync options that works. Other popular applications (Jump) allow syncing through google which deactivates when I am out of town on unknown IP addresses in unknown areas leaving me unable to connect to the resources that I need. It also not only does RDP and VNC but also SSH. This allows me to sync my customer connections between devices seamlessly. The session list gives the most flexibility if you have a long list of devices that you connect to. I find this immensely useful and have given each of my customers their own category in order to simply finding sessions. My only complaint would be a bubble implementation of the mouses which allows me to precisely point the mouse. I love the trackpad mode when I need it as it makes navigation simple. In summary if you are a hard core IT professional this may be the app for you because of the many features. I personally am a sr engineer/architect and find this applications greatly useful.

While I can open the app, when I hit the + to add a session, nothing ever happens other than the + grays out. iPhone 6+ on iOS 8.

Truely a best in class product. Very robust, stable and sensible core functionality. Ssh+protocol functionality works exactly as advertised. Net bios resolution is fast and glitch free. Certainly worth the asking price and then some. No competitors product even comes close to the core functionality of remoter .

I wanted an app that would allow me to SSH into my laptop on my local LAN. A simple username and password should be all that is required along with an IP Address or hostname. I have three different flavors of machines on my local network, all running SSH, to date I have been unable to connect to any of them with this tool. BUT I can sit at any one of the machines and SSH between any of them with absolutely no problems or issues. So buyer beware, dont waste your time or money.

SSH, VNC over SSH, RDP - all work well and quickly. One of my main apps for administrating various servers.

I’d like to like this app. But, it doesn’t let you import ssh keys from the clipboard. The import facility it does have seems kind of pointless and useless. For me (since the keys I already have are the authoritative keys, and the direction of creation will always be desktop -> Remoter and not the other way around, and I ALWAYS require key based auth), that makes this app rather limited.

RDP over SSH with key authentication, AND tunnel through it for access to remote devices all in one app!!! Bummer IOS 8 wont let it maintain connections for any decent length of time!!!

With every update the developer introduces new features, some are not welcome but enabled by default. E.g. I do not want keyboard buffering and find it confusing yet it was on after the last update. UI colors make it impossible to distinguish ON and OFF. Text does not scroll automatically and gets hidden behind the keyboard. Lots of annoyances make me very resentful of upgrades - dont fix what aint broken.

Unable to speak to usability. It simply does not work due to using and older less secure key exchange its unable to connect to current SSH servers that will not accept it. So you cant connect. I was hoping this would replace iSSH from the defunct zinger-soft, but unfortunately not the case and a waste of $.

Useless in IOS 8. Wasted

I use RDP over SSH with password protected private key. I have tried many other apps and most of them dont support this feature. But this app has been working great with this feature and I have been using it since couple years ago.

Seeking a replacement for the defunct Zinger-Soft iSSH app. (Strange how that well-regarded app, touted by Apple just dropped off the platform.) Some Snowden thing? Bought Remoter Pro 1.8.03, today, 11/23/2015, and tried configuring an RDP over SSH connection, but got error, "Ciphers other than DES-EDE3-CBC not supported."
